Desaru is a great place and really worth discovering with family. Hence, my mom has planned a family trip to Desaru last school holiday. After spending three wonderful days in Desaru, we decided to head back to Singapore.

One hour before the departure time, I went to Limbongan Maju counter to check-in my ferry ticket. After check-in, the staff from Limbongan Maju gave me a boarding pass.

Immigration Clearance and Board the Ferry
30 minutes before the departure time, I went to the immigration counter for immigration clearance for Malaysia side. After that, I went to the waiting area to wait for the staff to announce the arrival of the ferry.
After waiting for 5 minutes, the Limbongan Maju ferry to Singapore arrived at the jetty. After walking for about 5 minutes from the waiting area to the jetty, I finally boarded the ferry.

I waited in the ferry while other passengers went through the immigration clearance.

After travelling on sea for 30 minutes, I finally arrived at Changi Ferry Terminal.
I passed through a luggage scanner checkpoint. Please make sure you do not bring any illegal item or else you might get stuck here and delay your journey. Upon completing the luggage checking, I went to the immigration counter for immigration clearance for Singapore side. It took me 5 minutes for the whole process.
I prefer to take ferry instead of driving from Desaru to Singapore because driving is tiring. Moreover, the car would be stuck in the traffic jam when it gets closer to the Singapore checkpoint.
